Veterinary Surgeon – Bellevue Veterinary Clinic, Frome From £65,000-£70,000 DOE pro rata plus benefits

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal team at Bellevue Veterinary Clinic in Frome. At Bellevue we believe in using advanced treatment methods but with traditional values of great customer service, professionalism, and community spirit. You will have a mix of consults and surgery and will be supported by our team of experienced Vets and Nurses. Certificate qualifications are encouraged and funded. We care for all small animals, equine, wildlife, and exotics. This is ideally a full-time role, working a four or five day week between 8.30am and 6.30pm however at Bellevue we are incredibly flexible and happy to work around bespoke hours and consider various part time options. We are flexible on rota and would be keen to discuss the ideal rota for you. There are no OOH and we are closed on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and Bank Holidays. Saturday Morning will be required on a 1 in 4 rota, giving you access to an emergency caseload too. Our practice is situated in the beautiful countryside near Frome, (Named the Sunday Times, Best Place to Live in the South West) bordering Somerset, Wiltshire, and Dorset – a great location for a rural weekend escape with plenty of outdoor activities nearby and also close to Bristol Airport for breaks further afield. Bellevue has been established since 2006 and have a very well-equipped practice with DR X-ray, a brand-new, high-quality ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, Vetair Mobile dental Unit with scaler, Multiparameter unit, Tonometry, Laser, Orthopaedic kit and much more. You will see a variation of routine, preventative, and more advanced cases during your working week. If you’re confident, have a good skillset and still have the drive to keep on learning, pushing forwards acquiring skills and using them to help patients we’d very much like to hear from you.
