Veterinary Surgeon

This is a unique role working as part of a team of 3 vets based at our Uxbridge branch practice which is the local hub for our Ickenham branch 3 miles away (15 minutes by car).
Set in a village location, our Ickenham branch has been caring for pets and their owners in the local community for many decades. Small and perfectly formed, the practice has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, a dedicated, longstanding team, and loyal clients. The A40/M40 and M25 are only 10 minutes away and there are great tube links into central London, Uxbridge and Heathrow Airport is also within easy reach.
We have an excellent support team and our experienced Nursing Assistants Dawn and Alison have been at the practice for over 20 years and clients love dropping in to see them and have a chat. There is a happy working environment at both our Ickenham and Uxbridge, as well as wonderful, bonded clients. We pride ourselves on the level of service we offer our and always work to the highest standards. We have all the usual toys in order to work your cases up to a high standard, including a shiny new dental x-ray and ultrasound at Uxbridge. This is a full-time (average 43 hours a week) position including 1in 3 Saturdays. You will be working 1:3 weeks sole charge at Ickenham and the rest of your time at Uxbridge alongside another vet colleague. The salary for this position is £45,000 to £58,000 (FTE) per annum depending on experience. There is no overnight work or on call. We would love you to support our hospital colleagues at our RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital in Northolt on a 1:8 Sunday daytime only rota and 2 Bank Holidays per year. The Mandeville Hospital has great 24hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment and an array of specialists and provides a great environment to develop your ECC skills.
