Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an additional permanent small animal vet to join our 5 – 6 vet practice who will be supported by our lovely nursing admin team (includes 7 RVN’s) We are a friendly independent family run practice situated in the heart of Worcestershire and whether you are a new graduate or an experienced veterinary surgeon, we are committed to offer support and progression in any areas of interest with assurance and expertise from our team. We offer
  • Named mentor offering clinical support
  • 6 weeks annual leave with 4 day working week
  • Fantastic case continuity (we do our own on call which you can join if you wish, not essential, but greatly appreciated)
  • Expanding facilities – separate dog and cat wards, digital radiography including dental, high quality ultrasound with in house training, internal lab, endoscope, optic loop, tonovet pen,cautery,laser etc. one of our vets offers acupuncture
  • RCVS accredited, Gold ISFM, Silver rabbit friendly and fear free dog status
  • 15-30 minute consults
  • very experienced veterinary colleagues (range from 6 years to 30 years of experience)
  • CPD allowance of £1,200 which is negotiable. Certificates supported
  • rota of 3 days 9am-7pm (with 1 hour lunch and 2 x 20 min tea breaks) plus 1 day 9am-5pm with 1 day off
  • 1 in 3 saturday mornings 9am-12.15pm
  • PART TIME positions would be happily considered
