Veterinary Administrator

Mon-Friday 8am – 5pm one hours lunch no weekends Immediate start available if needed or we will wait for the right candidate. JOB SUMMARY SPECIFICATION: We are a multidisciplinary referral centre based in Ringwood, Hampshire, offering a wide range of specialist veterinary services. We have recognised specialists in the fields of anaesthesia, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, orthopaedics, diagnostic imaging, spinal surgery, soft tissue surgery. We also have an animal rehabilitation team. Our advanced facilities and leading equipment enable our specialists to offer the highest standard of veterinary care from admission through to discharge. Close to neighbouring towns such as Bournemouth, Southampton and Salisbury, our expertise and support have extended to patients right across the UK. Based on the edge of the New Forest close to the A31, our idyllic location and modern facilities allow for calm setting for us to deliver the very best in patient care. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and enthusiastic administrator to join our client accounts team. This is a fast paced working environment and the ideal candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently. Proven experience in an administration role would be preferred. The role will include liaising with our clinicians on client accounts, pricing patient accounts, issuing client invoices, inputting payments, processing direct insurance claims, cashing up, Bacs, chasing insurance companies for claim payments and other office duties. You will need to be confident in talking to clients on the telephone about their account and discussing payment options with them. You will also be a financial point of contact for our clients both on the telephone and in person.
