Full Job Description

At Somers Square Dental we are looking for a trainee dental nurse to join our well-established dental practice in the heart of Halesowen. We want to welcome you to a dynamic team who have a fresh, exciting approach to dentistry and a warm and caring attitude toward staff. We are located in the town centre of Halesowen. We are looking for a friendly, energetic and enthusiastic dental receptionist to join our expanding team. The individual will work full time Monday-Friday ( + 2 Saturdays a month 9am-12pm) alongside our experienced team of Dentists, Dental nurses and Orthodontist. At Somers Square Dental we aim to provide quality, preventative dental treatment in a comfortable environment. We are fully computerised using SOE/ exact software experience in the software is not essential training will be provided. Duties of a Dental Receptionist include: · Welcoming patients into the practice and making them feel at ease · Ensuring a high standard of patient care and excellent customer service · General reception duties (answering the telephone and emails, booking appointments, referrals, filing. upkeep of patient records etc) · Maintain confidentiality at all times · COVID-19 patient screening Duties of a Trainee Dental Nurse include: To welcome the patients and provide chairside assistance Must be up to date with current NHS guidelines and CPD Excellent interpersonal/communication skills Ability to be flexible and work in a busy practice Reliable Up to date with cross infection procedures Competitive hourly rate /negotiable for reliable ,hardworking ,candidate Any questions please contact Job Types: Full-time, Permanent COVID-19 considerations: As per guidelines for Nhs practices Required skills -Previous clinical dental experience not necessary -Exceptional organisational skills -Friendly and empathetic -Pro-active, motivated and committed -Excellent communication skills -Team player -We offer career development within the practice and opportunities to expand your skills.
