Full Job Description

A 12 month part time maternity cover has become available within our friendly team at Addenbrooke’s hospital, Cambridge. We’re interested in hearing from Optometrists who already have some hospital experience or see themselves developing a longer term connection with hospital work. You will already be confident with your paediatric assessments and refractive management but don’t necessarily need to have extended role experience as full supervision will be given. There are lots of opportunities within ophthalmology clinics for those with interests in glaucoma, medical retina, AMD and cornea.   • Deliver a range of clinical services to the highest standards
  • Provide safe and effective referral triage and clinical advice
  • Assist in the teaching and training of staff and community partners
  • Undertake clinical audit, research and administrative tasks
