Department: Maxillofacial and Orthodontics Band 5 per annum, pro rata if part-time Hours: 24 and 16.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working We are seeking to recruit a qualified Senior Specialist Dental Nurse to work within our busy Outpatient Department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a progressive and developing environment.   • To provide and maintain a high standard of chair side dental nursing care, for Oral / Maxillofacial Surgery, and Orthodontic clinics.
  • To provide a Dental Radiological service for the department.
  • To ensure that the best possible Dental Nursing Care is delivered to patients including those with complex medical, physical and emotional needs.
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality professional care throughout the department.
  • Represent the department in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure all lines of communication are identified and used effectively.
