Here at Pet Doctors Isle of Wight hub, we now we have the exciting opportunity for a Senior Vet to join our team. As a team we are dedicated to providing clinical excellence and the highest standard of client care. In the role as our Senior Vet you will play a vital role in managing our busy caseload whilst gaining valuable leadership experience with the support from the Regional Director (who lives locally), Hub Clinical Lead, Operation Support Manager and the local team.
As you will expect, no day is ever the same so you can expect to experience a varied mixture of clinical work, leadership and management. We will make sure you also have enough time to develop your own interests while supporting your new Clinical team. You will help lead the clinical meetings, consider how we can grow and improve our practice and team and along with the practice manager be responsible for delivery of key strategic and commercial objectives. You will continue to grow close working relationships with our other practice on the Isle of Wight to ensure we have a consistent approach to clinical and non-clinical aspects.
This role is based at our Wootton site, but access to our hospital site is frequent. The role is 40 hours per week, based on a 4 day week with weekend shifts on rotation (TOIL for weekend shifts). We are looking for a veterinary surgeon that works to excellent clinical standards, is enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary medicine and will drive the practice standards in the role of Senior Vet. Leadership experience is preferable with the passion to develop and grow a .team
