Pharmacy Services Post Registration Foundation Pharmacist Mental Health Band 6 Gartnavel Royal Hospital 37.5 Hours The hours are worked Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.30pm Do you want to work in a dynamic, friendly, small team who strive for excellence in patient care? This post may be for you. We have a band 6 vacancy within our clinical pharmacy team on the Gartnavel Royal site in the West-End of Glasgow. You will provide pharmaceutical care to a variety of inpatient beds on the site. These include acute and longer stay beds across the adult to older adult age group and also acute learning disability beds. You will be supported to work towards your foundation training qualification and given to support and tools to allow you to develop your skills and knowledge of both mental health and general clinical pharmacy. We have a good track record of successful foundation training completion and in those staff gaining promoted posts. There are excellent working relationships within the wider team and a real understanding of the role the pharmacist plays in ensuring medication safety, appropriateness of medication and education of patients. This is an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a specialist environment and will provide huge opportunities for you to grow as pharmacist. You will have support from your line manager and wider mental health pharmacy team. You must be registered (or eligible to be registered) with the GPHC.
