Receptionist (Veterinary)

Position: Receptionist Location: Gabalfa Hours a Week: 25 Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday. Changing Rota. Successful candidate will work any shift between 07:00 – 19:00. Purpose of Position: The Receptionist is the link between the clinical team and our amazing clients and patients. Because of this, in this role, you are expected to run the reception desk with organisation, compassion and maturity. Duties/Responsibilities will include: · Meeting and greeting pets and their owners · Scheduling appointments · Handling telephone enquiries · Processing payments · Dispensing medication · Ensuring stock levels are accurate · Keeping the front of house area as clean and as welcoming as possible (This list is by no means exhaustive and more tasks may be added to the above list as you settle in to your role.) To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate strong administration, organisational and customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail. Additional Information: Valley Vets, based in South Wales has four branches. Ystrad Mynach, Cardiff, Pentrych and Caerphilly. We also have our state of the art Veterinary Hospital in Gwaelod Y Garth, Cardiff. Valley Vets is part of VetPartners LTD which in total has over 40 practices in South Wales.
