Qualified Practice Manager

I have just taken on a role with a twist!

My client is a franchisee of one of the most well-known groups in the Kinston area who is now looking to employ a Qualified dispensing Optician Manager with a view to buying them out over the next one to two years.
As it stands it is not a deal-breaker if you are not interested in ownership as they do need a qualified manager in place to start around the end of May, beginning June.

Qualified Practice Manager

This is a full-time opportunity for a Qualified Dispensing Optician / Practice Manager to join this small, single clinic practice but nevertheless has built a reputation of quality and service in a well maintained, personable practice.

The Director has been there for quite some time now and feels now is the right time to move on.
This is very much a family feel environment and servicing a mixed patient demographic.
They have a reputation for looking after your whole family and offer a good range of eyewear brands and lenses.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Practice Manager

You will have previous or present experience of working in a small team, as the practice team consists of a DOPM, an experienced OA, and the Director/owner.
You will manage the day-to-day operations with emphasis on the customer journey. You will be doing a split role with dispensing playing an equal part to the admin daily.
Because it is only you and the owner / Optometrist and an optical assistant, will be working on your own and servicing dispenses on a walk-in basis unless pre-booked.

Requirements of the Qualified Practice Manager

My client has full consideration for any level, including someone who is due to qualify this year, but ideally must have some experience in management as there is no hand-holding.
Full GOC registration up to date and CET requirements met is a must.

Compensation for the Qualified Practice Manager

For the role, my client is offering a competitive basic salary of £32,000 DOE bonus potential up to £2,000 per annum.
You will work full time with opening hours of Hours: Monday – Saturday 9 am-5 pm & Sunday Closed
