We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Specialist ready for a new opportunity.
Ferring Controlled Therapeutics is a highly successful pharmaceutical manufacturing, research and development company located in East Kilbride and we are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our existing team.
Working within the Quality Assurance Department, the successful candidate would contribute to ensuring site compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and manufacturing licences for marketed products and clinical trials.
Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance this position would ideally suit a Quality Assurance professional with at least five years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated environment.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Review and approval of batch records, reports and other associated documentation
- Perform room authorisation checks during manufacturing and packaging processes
- Generation of Product Quality Reviews
- Perform Internal Audits
- Participate in Health Authority Inspections
- Perform GMP Training
- Operate Complaints, Deviations, CAPA and Change Management systems
- Contribute to Site Quality Objectives and quality improvement projects
Required Experience and competencies:
- A degree (BSc Hons or MSc) in pharmacy or life-science discipline.
- Quality Assurance: 5 years (Preferred)
- Experience in pharmaceutical GXP regulated work or a highly regulated environment is preferred.
