The 3Sixty Care Partnership is a unique joint venture between a federation of 27 GP practices in Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and East Northants and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. 3Sixty are working together with the five newly formed Primary Care Networks (PCNs), by bringing together health and care professionals to support them to deliver joined-up services, which we believe will lead to better quality care, better patient satisfaction and better outcomes.We are currently looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy technicians with excellent communication skills to join our forward-thinking team providing medicines knowledge, and information to support the safe and effective prescribing of medicines across the PCNs. The post holder will ensure that the practice integrates with community and hospital pharmacy to help utilise skill mix, improve patient outcomes, ensure better access to healthcare and help manage the medicines related workload in GP surgeries.
We Are Seeking Innovative Pharmacy Technicians To
- Promote the role of medicines optimisation in health and social care and be able to support other health care professionals to improve outcomes for patients.
- Work closely with practice-based pharmacists and practice staff across Primary Care Networks (PCN).
- Develop both clinical and strategic skills.
- Promote high quality, effective prescribing and avoiding medicines waste.
- Be adaptive and flexible; open to leading and contributing to a variety of work streams and projects within working capacity.
- Be able to influence and negotiate practice to improve outcomes for patients.
- Work autonomously as well as work effectively as part of a team.
- Undertake the CPPE Primary Care Education Pathway for pharmacy technicians
Interested applicants will need to have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. We welcome applications from registered technicians working in all sectors of pharmacy. Full training will be provided including enrolment on the CPPE Primary Care Education Pathway, therefore, applicants will need to demonstrate a commitment to learning and development and an ability to adapt to different working environments.
