Established for over 40 years Peters Opticians is a small but thriving independent practice in the heart of Newmarket.

Having undergone a recent extensive renovation and investment in technology you can be assured of working with the newest equipment. Supported by an experienced optometrist with a background in hospital, community and University optometry.

Peters Opticians’ friendly, local staff have a wealth of knowledge in the optical industry. They offer a wide variety of frames and lenses to suit all tastes and budgets from NHS frames to individually handcrafted pieces to cater for the most discerning tastes.

Due to the continuing success of the business Peters Opticians and our fantastic Clamps practice, they are now looking for a driven and patient centric individual to come and join their growing team!

What’s the Opportunity

The successful Pre-Reg Optometrist will be working across both the Peters practice location in Newmarket (Friday 09:00 – 17:30 and Saturday 09:00 – 13:00) and Clamps Opticians location in Cambridge (Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:30). The role does require Saturday working, the practices are not open Sundays or Bank Holidays. Days off will be Sunday and Monday.

As an independent practice, you will be given longer testing times and the latest technology to help you provide a first-class clinical service to patients.
