My client is a customer focussed multiple with emphasis on the customer journey, with their practice being in a strong footfall area and boasting one of the best patient databases in the industry.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced non-qualified retail practice manager to take care of the day-to-day operation of a multi-clinic practice with a strong team of professionally driven individuals.
The successful applicant will report to the group general manager, although still given a level of autonomy.
This practice is part of one of the biggest companies in the industry and this comes with a lot of pressure to perform to the highest level.
They focus on employing professionally driven team members to maintain a reputation built up over many years.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

You will lead a professional team from the front driving sales and increasing business, identifying any staff training opportunities as you go.
Ensure all company procedures, are followed in a professional manner. Also, liaise with the general manager and directors to discuss progress and new business opportunities.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

The ideal candidate will be a consummate professional with an ‘easy to talk to’, warm and customer focussed approach to their role.
You must have experience in management as there is no hand-holding.
The ability to guide a team to success is a pre-requisite along with excellent knowledge of all things optical.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

In return, they are offering a competitive salary package of £25,000 – £27,000 plus a full benefits package, more details at the interview.
