Pharmacy Governance Support Officer

Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy pharmacy department for someone with administrative experience to provide support to the pharmacy department. We are looking for a reliable, organised, hard working individual with good problem solving skills. Good communication skills are vital. You will be able to multi-task, remaining calm and professional at all times, be able to take accurate minutes and use Microsoft excel & word proficiently. The key responsibilities for this post are:
  • Provide administrative support to the Trust Drugs and Therapeutics Committee, including organising meetings, meeting papers and taking accurate minutes
  • Provide administrative support to a number of regular departmental groups and meetings, including organising meetings, printing meeting papers and taking accurate minutes
  • To maintain a tracker of pharmacy related Trust wide clinical guidelines and policies
  • To maintain a tracker of medicines related national alerts
  • To manage upload and version control of clinical guidelines and policies
  • To maintain and track non-formulary requests and Individual Funding Requests made across the Trust
  • To input data into Microsoft Excel databases and Microsoft Word tables
