About the Role
As one of our highly valued Healthcare Partners, you will be integral to the efficient running of our community or supermarket pharmacies across the UK. Supporting our customers on the shop floor, you will be providing life enhancing support and advice to improve people’s wellbeing whilst creating a warm and friendly environment to which they are keen to return to time and time again.
In this position, some of your responsibilities may include proactively providing customers with a complete customer service which finds them a solution tailored to their individual needs, ensuring all customers and patients receive safe and accurate advice – whether that is with the supply of over the counter (OTC) medicines, dispensing of prescribed medication or additional pharmacy services. Identifying and implementing actions which embed a culture of safer care in our pharmacies and support the pharmacy technician and your manager or pharmacist in building great relationships with the local GP surgery and with other healthcare professionals.
This position is also open to non-qualified trainee candidates, training will be provided to gain the relevant qualification and experience to the right candidate.

About You

We are looking for positive and approachable people who can utilise their Level 2 or equivalent Healthcare Assistant and Dispenser qualification to enrich people’s lives. An adaptable and flexible mentality will be key, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge and skills.There is natural progression from this role into a Pharmacy Technician position, with full support on offer to complete the necessary qualifications.
To be successful in this role as a Trainee you must have the work ethic and determination to take advantage of the ‘on the job’ training provided, as well as being approachable, hands on and have a professional personality to enable you to thrive.
