Pharmacist Band 6 to Band 7 Progression

This is a great opportunity for career progression from a Band 6 to Band 7 pharmacist. We support our staff to complete a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy whilst developing the necessary skillset to grow into a senior clinical pharmacist. We take great pride in the growth and success of our pharmacists that have developed to their full potential by progression posts at RNOH. The post holder will join a team of specialist and generalist clinical pharmacists, medicines optimisation technicians and pharmacy assistants in delivering high quality, safe and effective care to patients and service users. You will undertake ward based clinical pharmacy activities in addition to specialist six monthly specialist rotations. These areas include and are not limited to: dispensary, medicines safety, pre-operative assessment, drugs and therapeutic committee, spinal rehabilitation medicine, acute pain, chronic pain clinics, clinical trials and research, metabolic bone disease and rheumatology, homecare, complex long-term bone and soft-tissue infection management as well as post-operative care and high dependency/critical care.
