Specsavers in Dunfermline first opened its doors in 1991. The store sits in a prominent position on the high street of the market town and is firmly embedded within the local community. The loyal and growing customer base includes a broad range of customers being a key “commuter belt” location for Edinburgh being only 30 minutes away by train.

The store underwent an impressive refit in 2019, and boasts 8 optical test rooms, 1 eye refract room and 1 hearcare room – all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including 2 OCT machines – meaning you will have everything you need to perform sight tests to the highest possible standards.
Dunfermline is a large store and has a team of 60 dedicated and passionate colleagues. The existing Partners are really passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Optometry Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.
You would be joining Retail Director, Gillian Stapleton and Optometry Partner Sidra Zia who both joined the business in 2020. With such a fantastic business already with one of the largest CL databases in Scotland, both partners are really looking forward to gaining an Optometry Partner to help them drive the business forward, grow the volume and CL database so that it flourishes for many years to come.
In addition to the optics business, you would also be joining Audiology Director, Bryan Connor as a share holder in Dunfermline Audiology.
