About the store
Specsavers in Chester first opened its doors in 1991. The store sits in a prominent position on Northgate Street which is the main high street. The loyal and growing customer base includes strong percentage of NHS customers, and wide demographic from the local community. in addition to significant passing trade from all walks of life.
The Chester team pride themselves in ensuring that every one of their customers receives an excellent patient experience and this had led to the store receiving a 4.5 out of 5 rating from their customer online.
The store boasts 5 optical test rooms and one dedicated hear care room – all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT and Nidex – meaning you will have everything you need to perform sight tests to the highest possible standards.
A team of 25 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home. The existing Partners are passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Optometry Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.

The store is in the heart of the walled Cathedral city of Chester, located on the River Dee. With excellent transport links via the city link train/bus service. There is also parking for staff 200m from the store front.
