About the store
Acocks Green has undergone a full refit and rebrand August 2022, and is now kitted with the latest equipment an technology. Now operating with 3 test Rooms, one of which is a dual hear care room– meaning you will have everything you need to offer the highest level of customer service to your community. As the new partner, you will have the opportunity to continue the hard work and passion of the current partner, across both the team, existing and new customers.
A team of 20 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home, including two OO’s, plus Pre’regs. The new Partners will be entering the business at the same time, and will have full autonomy to build, shape and mould the store into a shared future vision.

Store location
The Acocks Green store is located in the vibrant city of Birmingham, benefiting from great transport in and out of the city. There is a mainline railway that’s a 5minute walk from the store and plenty of local parking, much of which is free. Staff have access to parking just behind the store and the store itself has easy access from the main road from Birmingham to Solihull. There’s something here for everyone: from shops, bars and restaurants to museums and parks for families to enjoy.
Requirements of the role
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, you’ll need to share the store’s ethos. They’re looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You’ll be a practitioner who prides themself on their clinical judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you’ll be a highly skilled Optometry professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
