Welcome to the beautiful City of Wells!

Officially England’s smallest City, this is a truly stunning location nestled close to Bristol and Bath, in the heart of the Cotswolds.

The pretty High-street is known for being the setting in comedy movie ‘Hot Fuzz’, so if it feels familiar when you’re taking a stroll you will know why!

The store is nestled between independent shops and boutiques and enjoys a prominent location with continuous high footfall. Pay and display, plus free parking is available close by too.

The store itself is a grade two listed building, so you can expect some attractive features that you would not normally see in some of our other Specsavers stores! Expect high ceilings, marble fireplaces and stained glass throughout.

This 5-test room store is slit across three floors, with the top fourth floor dedicated to the colleague’s room, kitchen and large directors’ office. All enjoy stunning views of Wells Cathedral.

There is huge opportunity for the three new partners to grow this business, with a focus on Recruitment and Team development. The store is currently run by the DO manager, who is assisted by a supervisors and trainee DO.

Ideally the new partners will share one vision and one goal – Provide the best level of service for the customers, Recruitment, Develop and retain the team, and increase turnover and overall profitability of the business.

Requirements of the role

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist or an experienced Optical Retailer or Contact Lens Optician, you will be excited to be part of a brand-new opportunity with an all-new Partnership structure and strategy.

We are looking for people who want to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You’ll be a professional who prides themself on their judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you’ll be a highly skilled Optical professional, professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
