Meet the Directors:
Jill Thompson has been the opthalmic director since the store opened 16 years ago. Jill moved from Nottingham as a locum to enjoy the benefits of living only 30 minutes from coast, city or countryside, and to become the director of her own store.

Ross McLachlan started his optical career as a Saturday lad during his time at uni. Having heard about the support offered to become a director, he worked his way toward his goal through management progression buying into the store 14 years ago. Ross is now the lead director for Specsavers in the region, working hard with the group in the area alongside directing 2 stores.
