Optometrist

This is a brand-new opportunity with an award-winning, high-end and clinical, independent in the Milton Keynes area who are now looking for an Optometrist on a full-time basis as they are now expanding their practice.

” Salary – up to £60,000
” Working with amazing products such as Lindberg, OrGreen, Mykita, Rolf and materials such as gold and horn.
” Top-end equipment – Triton OCT, Optomap, Oculus Keratograph
” Clinical development into myopia management (including OrthoK and tear clinics), behavioural optometry and independent prescribing
” Working with a lovely, small team; all well-established in practice for a number of years, highly experienced and friendly
” Relaxed working environment with no sales pressure

My client has an excellent reputation and have won a number of awards due to their excellent service and are looking for an Optometrist with a strong, clinical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be a people person, yet professional and will have ideally come from an independent background.

You will be joining a long-standing team who the majority have been in this practice for a minimum of 10 years and are looking for someone who is also looking for a long term role where they can develop their career and be part of the team who have built a great reputation, offers an excellent service and continue to win more awards.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You will be testing to 40min-1-hour appointments with no pre-screening done beforehand
Performing eye tests with a keen eye and focus
You will strive to give only the best when it comes to clinical excellence, attention to detail and customer service
Occasional contact lens fittings
What’s important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients as pride themselves on excellent customer care

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced
You will be a team player
An upbeat and friendly personality
Willing to continue learning and developing clinical knowledge
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

My client can guarantee a competitive salary of up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
A monthly team bonus.
A great working environment with a friendly and experienced team.
Working hours are 8:30-5:30 in the week with a late-night until 7pm, 9:00-5:00 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

5 weeks holiday pro rata
