Due to the increased levels of business and continued success, they are now looking to add a like-minded optometrist to the team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Optometrist looking for a new challenge, you will be involved with an ambitious team all thriving for excellence but also helping each other through their day-to-day roles. You will be a driven individual, looking to forge a long-term career with a group of people who all pull together to achieve excellence.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Performing eyes tests at 25-minute appointments
Be confident and professional with your 3-way handovers, recommendations, and referrals
Be able to build quality patient rapport
Retinal imaging
Adhering to all GOC guidelines
Building excellent patient reports
Contact Lens Fittings

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced
A friendly and personable demeanor and strong personal work ethic.
A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Must be able to work well within a team
You must be able to work three from four Saturdays per month and no Sundays, working hours of 09:00-17:30.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer is a starting salary of up to £55-60,000 + a projected bonus of 4k in your first year + benefits for the right person.
You will be taking on an opportunity to develop a practice as there is room to grow with a high footfall, an affluent area, and having new ownership of this practice and they will look to make a big difference.
You will also receive some further training; develop onto WOPEC or down the managerial side and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
