An exciting opportunity has arisen for another Optometric clinical Technician to join our busy team and work in an interesting clinical role at Oxford Eye Hospital.
Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given. Your role may be based at Oxford Eye Hospital or at one of our outreach sites such as Abingdon or Wantage
You will need to be motivated with a caring attitude and enjoy using new technology. See attached job description
Your role will be to help patients perform a number of pre-programmed computerised tests and so to measure aspects of vision / eye health.
Full training will be given. A proportion of the time will be involvement in clinic administration and other support activities to ensure the smooth running of our high-quality optometry service.
Your hours will match the planned clinic sessions to support the team. Due to expansion of services vacancies evening and weekend working may be included as part of contracted hours depending on demand and availability. Full training will be given.
