Optical Practice Manager

This is medium-sized optician in the South Stockport area are a well-established and well known Opticians, with a presence in nearly every town and city in the country are now looking to add an Optical Practice Manager to their team.   Optical Practice Manager Position  As the Optical Practice Manager, you will be the driving force of the business, leading by example and inspiring staff. You will help to lead a busy team of 7-8 people on a daily basis, whilst managing the whole of the business. ” Looking after on average 7-8 staff. ” Experienced and well-established team ” Needs to be a good people-person, problems solver and be able to drive the business. ” Basic salary up to £30,000. ” Bonus scheme – Approx. £200 per month ” Fixed Rota for a better work life balance ” 40-hour contract – 8:30-5:30 ” Parking ” No lates ” Platinum employer, ahead of piers on growth ” Having a refurb   Responsibilities of the Optical Practice ManagerYour role will be to help lead the team from the front. You will be on the shop floor making sales and coaching your teams and ensuring customer service standards are maintained. You will occasionally be involved in all optical duties such as dispensing but primarily be offering advice, managing staff, troubleshooting, rota management, KPI’s, P&L, and dealing with all of the day to day duties. Requirements of the Optical Practice ManagerYou must have 12 months experience as a manager within an opticans and be comfortable in a senior role with full autonomy in the role as the Director will rarely be available to assist on a day-to-day basis. You will have a confident and up-beat personality with a strong people and management skill set along with a willingness to succeed. You will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
