Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
Your role will be to help lead a small but experienced team from the front.
You will be on the shop floor making sales and coaching your teams and ensuring customer service standards are maintained.
You will occasionally be involved in all optical duties such as dispensing but primarily be offering advice, managing staff, troubleshooting, rota management, KPI’s, P&L, and dealing with all of the day to day duties.
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager
Ideally you will be a GOC registered Dispensing Optician (not essential)
You will have a strong level of experience and knowledge in both optics and management
This role is full time, working 5-days, including every Saturday.
You must have over 3 years of experience as a manager and be comfortable managing a team, you will have full autonomy in the role as the Directors will rarely be available to assist on a day-to-day basis.
You will have a confident and up-beat personality with a strong people and management skill set along with a willingness to succeed.
You will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
For your efforts a competitive package is on offer;
” A competitive salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
” 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays (Bank Holidays are closed)
” Sociable hours with no Sundays or late nights

” In house CET training
” You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
” Hours would be 9am till 6pm – 37.5 hours to include Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank holidays
