Optical Practice Manager

My client is a chain of opticians, who have been established for many years with over 150 practices across the UK. They are now looking for an Optical Practice Manager to look after one of their practices in South Manchester.

Full time – 37.5 hrs – 0900 – 1730 – No Lates or Sundays
£20,000 – £22,000 + generous bonuses

You will be working with a small team and you will manage the day to day business, completing training on a regular basis as well as working towards targets.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

You will work within guidelines and be the face of the company in everything you do. You will guide your team to be the best they can be with helping patients with all their eye and hearing care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care and hearing health checks. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.
You will be working in a team of 3-4 and be able to support and motivate the team working towards targets and KPI’s. An experienced senior optical assistant or supervisor would be considered.

Requirements for the Optical Practice Manager

You will need a minimum of 2 year experience of working in an optics and it’s essential you can dispense spectacles to all levels but not essential to have previous management experience as full training is provided.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £22,000 as well as a generous bonus scheme and the opportunity to further your career. You will have 28 days holiday.
Working hours are 9-5:30 Monday – Saturday.
