Eyecare Oncall is one of the fastest-growing domiciliary eye care providers in the north. The vast majority of our patients reside in care homes therefore; we provide a service that specializes in the specific needs of the elderly and the vulnerable. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service to our clients and to help us do this we are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our administration team based in our Manchester office.
If you have optical experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a keen eye for detail with a can-do attitude then this could be the ideal role for you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Booking patients’ appointments.
  • Dealing with queries from patients and colleagues.
  • Dealing with incoming calls.
  • Updating our in-house database.
  • Maintaining company processes.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Ordering glasses.
  • Completing NHS Paperwork.
Person Specification:
  • Must be organized, and proactive with experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Must have strong time management skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Must be able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining 100% accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Optical experience is required.
Hours of Work:
  • Full Time.
  • Business Opening hours Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.30.
  • No weekend or bank holiday work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Note: Part-time is also available.
Salary: £21,000.00 per year.
