Optical Assistant/driver

We are currently looking to hire an Optical Assistant in our busy practice. An Optical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the optician with vision exams, helping customers with their orders as well as performing administrative tasks like cleaning and stocking the shop. Our Optical Assistant must be responsible and a team player with excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks under the strict guidance of an optician.
• Use recording systems to maintain accurate records of retail transactions.
• Communicate with customers to answer questions about products and services.
• Perform setup, preparation, sterilisation and cleaning operations for procedures.
• Go out on domicilary visits
• Must be able to drive
• Experience not essential
