WOULD YOU LIKE TO PURSUE A LONG TERM CAREER IN THE OPTICAL & HEALTHCARE SECTOR Optical Assistant We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individual to work alongside our existing Professional team. Kings Hill Opticians Ltd is an independent Optical Practice providing a high level of customer service to our patients. Alongside the service, we offer professional advice and High Quality Optical Products which are not readily available on the high street. If you have worked for an independent outfit, you will realise that we are not governed by policies and procedures, in fact we release the shackles and let our staff fulfil their job, to the best of their ability. You will be one of the first points of contact for our patients and we expect you to provide our patients with a positive experience. Whilst previous optical experience is not essential, a personable and service oriented manner is vital. Also we expect you to be demonstrate excellent communication skills as this will be required to explain our service and optical products to our patients. We will provide you with on the job training and mentoring about eye care, products and visual concerns. All we ask is that you are willing to learn. Essential skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as you will be dealing directly with the public, over the phone and face to face

How will you do this?
  • You will be the first point of contact for new and existing patients in the practice and over the phone
  • Book appointments and deal with administration
  • Listen to our patients and recommend and provide the best Optical Products and Solutions for them
  • Keep up to date with the latest products available

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations: All staff and patients are required to wear face masks (unless exempt) and staff will need to carry out regular lateral flow tests. Ability to commute/relocate:
