Optical Assistant

As a hard working Boots Opticians franchise we are looking to further grow our professional team within our Warminster Practice. Roles & Responsibilities

• Initial clinical reception duties such as booking, cancelling and altering appointments.
• Ensuring all patients are arrived and checked in within a timely fashion.
• Carrying out all necessary screening checks using our top of the range equipment.
• Checking and updating our patient database where required.
• Verification of spectacles prescriptions.
• Advising appointments and spectacle collections.
• Assisting our regular Hearingcare clinics.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our new lines & promotions.
• Simple adjustments & repairs of patient spectacles.

Requirements: Confident, friendly, enthusiastic individual who will be based in our Warminster practice . You will need to be able to multitask, be well organised & have really great communication and customer service skills. Previous customer service experience necessary, previous experience within the healthcare sector would be an advantage. Flexible pay band to reflect relevant expertise.
