Full Job Description

Location: Leven Working Hours: Full time – (weekend work is essential) As an Optical Assistant, you will make sure every customer gets a great experience when they come into our store, from initial contact to aftercare. It means listening to what they want, explaining our offers and products, carrying out pre-screening examinations and dispensing single vision, bifocal and varifocal lenses. You will work within NHS guidelines ( as well as your own high standards), give good, clear advice and make a positive impression, thanks to your polite and professional approach. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a team environment and dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone. Candidates will have experience of customer care, be organised, flexible and always willing to help. they will be adaptable to the needs to the customers and our business where no two days are the same. Full training will be given, we will develop your knowledge of vision problems, eyecare and our products. What’s on offer?
