Optical Assistant

Join our team at Specscart. Walkden, a business that is revolutionising the eyewear industry in the UK by changing the way people perceive eyeglasses. We are looking for our new team member- an Optical Assistant – who’ll assist and manage in day to day operations for the Online and Walkden retail store. We fully support career development and if successful, we will help you achieve your goals. This position is based in Specscart. Walkden, Walkden Town Center store, Walkden. You must be well-presented, warm and welcoming with the ability to build a rapport with our online and retail store customers. Your ability to boost sales with giving individual quality customer service would help you achieve the position. And of course, enthusiasm for sales and growth is always a plus point at Specscart. Responsibilities:

• Maximising Store Sales
• Attending Walk-in Customers & Taking Telephone Calls.
• Replying to customer emails.
• Ensuring every customer gets a great experience in-store and online.
• Attend reception and make eye test appointments.
• Complete adjustments and collections. Dispense spectacles.
• Be an all-rounder for the online and retail store, most importantly, always offering stand out service.
• Explaining our products and offers. Assist on giving good, clear advice and making a positive impression.
• We require previous experience as an optical assistant and have an experienced record for providing fantastic customer service.
