Full Job Description

We continue to experience increased demand and are delighted to be recruiting further staff for our busy Independent Optometrists. We require an Optical Assistant to join our experienced professional teams, especially in our Airdrie practice. We have well established practices within Lanarkshire and Glasgow serving the community for over 30 years, a patient focused practice delivering a high standard of customer service. The post may be part time or full time and is a permanent position. A supporting role to the Optometrist attending to general administration and dealing with patient’s enquiries. Booking appointments and assisting patients when they arrive at the practice. We are a paperless practice with the latest equipment. We require the ability to deliver a high standard of customer service and be able to support colleagues too. Experience within an Optometrist practice is desired but not essential as we have a robust training programme. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, we supply a uniform.   • 8 hour shift
