The Client
My client is looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join them in their practice in the East-Central London area.
This independent Optician offers the chance to work in London, in a friendly environment, with an existing and constantly growing number of loyal customers.
They have 3 practices and stock a carefully selected range of designer frames and sunglasses.
They also have their own glazing lab, so can offer patients a quick turnaround on their purchases.
This new position will involve the usual Dispensing role, alongside working in their UK distribution company.
The position will suit a candidate who likes to work with a degree of autonomy.

o A natural problem solver, able to resolve issues that may arise with patient’s glasses or contact lenses
o A highly motivated individual, able to work without direction, and willing to take on designated admin tasks, to work as a team to keep the practice running smoothly
o You will be passionate about eyewear and commercially aware
o Full time and part-time opportunities available for the right candidate
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
o You will be the primary contact for and on behalf of the owner, dealing with the day-to-day practice running.
o Dispensing high-end products.
o Working alongside the owner in the day-to-day running of our distribution company, including product fulfillment, stock control, accounting, and customer service.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant
o Salary: Competitive, depending on role and experience, (Starting at minimum wage, but flexibility for the right applicant)

Interview process:
Zoom / Video Interview followed by a face-to-face meeting if required.
