Optical Assistant Position

An opportunity has just become available for a retail-driven optical assistant with experience in all levels of volume dispensing.
I am recruiting currently for one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands that have an opening due to them increasing their dispensing team.

The practice is in the busy East London area with a demand they are finding hard to service.
They have a strong loyal customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients. The team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of service and pull together to maintain the reputation of the practice and group.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You must be able to dispense to all levels, conduct pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and help with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

At least 1 year of optical experience with a hunger to achieve results and a strong personal work ethic.
The director of this practice likes ambitious people and offers progression opportunities leading to the Dispensing Optician qualification or Management.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

For your drive and passion, my client is offering more than the competitive salary of up to 27k basic and an uncapped bonus scheme with additional benefits.
