LEAD REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSE

Your role and responsibilities You will be working alongside another nurse, receptionist, and our Veterinary surgeons, carrying out and supporting consultations, theatre, and patient care. As Tam Lead, you will be expected to liaise regularly with other team leads and our Head Nurse to effectively manage your team and their rota. There will also be an expectation to take on Practice Standards, ISFM Membership, and Health and Safety tasks. Working with branch and senior managers to achieve optimum performance for each team member and supporting with marketing opportunities as well as organizing the effective running of the day amongst the team. Further details are available in the job description. Covering 40 hours per week with usually 8-hour days between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm, on a 1:4 Saturday rota working 8.00 am – 5.00 pm. We have a separate dedicated out-of-hours team to cover nights, Sundays, and Bank holidays. You will ideally be confident in anaesthesia monitoring as well as an all-around nurse, and in return, we can offer you a fantastic team with an ethos of support and honouring clinical motivations.
