Lead Pharmacist Obstetrics Gynaecology and Neonates

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 10 month, full time position, to cover the Women’s Specialist Lead Pharmacist who is taking a research opportunity. The post is based at the world renowned Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital (QCCH), part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. You will lead the team at the QCCH and Hammersmith Hospital site in delivering a high quality pharmacy service to the obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatal specialties, working closely with consultants, junior doctors, midwives, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team. You will manage the Women and children rotational band 7 in the neonatal and women’s rotation. Support will be given by the Senior Lead Pharmacist Women’s and Children’s, based at St Mary’s Hospital.
  • You will be an enthusiastic experienced hospital pharmacist who will provide high quality pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary team.

  • We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic pharmacist with a willingness to learn and develop an expertise in this clinical area to join the team. We require hard work and commitment but in return we will provide a supportive team structure and plenty of opportunity to develop your skills, both clinical and managerial.
  • You should have some hospital clinical pharmacy experience and an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology.
