Lead Pharmacist – Medicines Value

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward-thinking pharmacist with a passion to lead the medicines value agenda in a well performing pharmacy department. Supported by a data analyst and a procurement technician with responsibility for homecare, you will lead the delivery of the Trust’s medicines value agenda, as well as being an integral part of the Healthy Wirral Medicines Optimisation work programme to deliver health economy wide savings in conjunction with our system partners. This will involve providing oversight of HCD expenditure, delivery of CIP initiatives and leading pharmacy homecare services. This post presents an excellent opportunity to optimise all of your current expertise and to further develop your skills leading on medicines value in collaboration with specialist pharmacists, clinical teams and primary care colleagues. You will also have a clinical commitment which will involve provision of high quality, patient-centred support to an agreed clinical area.
