Experienced Lab Technician Location: Hemel Hempstead Salary: Competitive basic dependent on experience Working hours: Full Time (Weekend work is essential) Experience level: Must have experience working in an optical lab within the last 5 years At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction. With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customers spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities: – Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received – Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times – Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments – Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
