Lab Technician
Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire
Working hours: Full time – 40 hours (32 hours would be considered) weekend working essential
Salary: Up to 10.50 an hour depending on experience
Experience level: must have previous optical lab experience
At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.
With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customers spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:
- Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
- Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
- Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
- Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
