This unique role offers the opportunity to be a part of a growing outpatient pharmacy team . Our organisation, Lancashire Hospitals Services (Pharmacy) Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting service, focusing on providing efficient and effective pharmacy services to our patients in Preston, Rosemere Centre and Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital.
By joining our Outpatient Dispensing team, you will develop your clinical knowledge in a fast paced environment, whilst providing a customer focused and critical service to patients visiting the hospital. This role is perfect for an ambitious Pharmacist who has the ability to build strong relationships with various healthcare professionals. You will develop an understanding of the evolving NHS and have the opportunity to learn new skills along the way.
You will be responsible and reliable for supporting the efficient delivery of the outpatient dispensing service, working as a key member of the pharmacy team to achieve excellence and provide exceptional customer care and patient safety.
Are you an experienced pharmacist looking to make a change and apply for a role with a difference, where you may develop your clinical knowledge in a hospital setting. Maybe you’re a hospital pharmacist looking for a change of direction or perhaps you’re a newly-qualified Pharmacist looking for your first role in pharmacy? You will be able to develop your clinical knowledge, whilst providing a customer focused and critical service to patients who visit the hospital.
The successful candidate must be a registered Pharmacist with GPhC and possess an MPharm degree or equivalent.
