Do your life’s best work. Come join us. We’d love to hear from you. We are looking for an extraordinary individual to join our team as a Hearing Aid Dispenser Apprentice. We have vacancies in the West Midlands and London regions currently. What you will be doing as an apprentice? You will be mobile based and working with one of our highly experienced Audiologists on the job. Your primarily responsibilities will be carrying out fittings and customer rehabilitation of hearing aids. In addition, you will be responsible for all aspects of follow ups and service/repair calls as well as aftercare. Your role will also include referring customers to your Mentor Audiologist who are ready to upgrade their existing hearing aids. What training and qualification will you get? You will achieve a Level 5 award in hearing aid dispensing allowing you to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and to work under the protected title of ‘Hearing Aid Dispenser’. The apprenticeship consists of on the job and classroom based training in conjunction with De Montford University in Leicester. The course is 24 months in total.
