Dispensing Opticians/ Optical Assistant

A rare opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated dispensing optician to join a family run independent practice that has been established for over 50 years in Marple, Cheshire. The practice has a great reputation within the local community and has an extremely loyal patient base. We have recently relocated to a fabulous premises. Key Features:

The successful candidate will be:

• GOC registered dispensing optician
• Self-motivated, well organised and driven
• Upbeat, friendly personality and able to create a rapport with our patients
• Capable of working well with all members of our fantastic team

As an independent practice your role will be varied. we stock a wide range of spectacles from exclusive premium spectacle frames such as Lindberg and Anne et Valentin, to a more budget range that accommodates NHS patients. You will also be able to have an input on frame buying and selection. Other roles may include contact lens teaches, performing visual fields assessment and training other staff members on dispensing and fitting spectacles.
