Beauwood Dental Care is looking for a dental receptionist & administration assistant available to start as soon as possible. We are a modern, rapidly growing, and friendly practice providing NHS and private dental care, including implants and aesthetic dentistry..
Role Outline:
As a dental receptionist and administrator you will be providing excellent service to our patients and to other members of the team to support each other.
We are looking for someone who enjoys their job and is keen to learn. The practice is very fast paced and you must be able to work on your own initiative and have the help and support of an extremely dedicated team. Someone who is in it for the long term and who wants to build lasting relationships with our patients. We are very serious in our efforts to look after our patients to a high standard and provide a customer experience which is better than would normally be expected. It is therefore essential that you have excellent communication skills. We want to have a reputation for our excellent customer service.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and visitors
- Answering calls, making appointments, and responding to queries.
- Appointment book management.
- Responsible for ensuring the collection of cash receipts and other payments as well as maintaining accurate financial records.
- Maintain patient and practice confidentiality
- Processing referrals and other practice correspondence.
- Checking lab work has been sent and received correctly
- Adhering to the practices recall system
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist advantageous
- DBS will be undertaken
