Dental Receptionist Dove Dental & Wellbeing Spa is a modern, fast growing independent practice based in Wandsworth, South London. We are looking for an experienced dental receptionist who has a passion for dentistry and excellent front of house skills. We provide general and cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign and Implants, alongside aesthetic treatments such as HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound), dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments. We are focused on providing a fresh patient experience that goes beyond the ordinary, as well as a supportive, caring environment for our staff. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dedicated, punctual and a team player. The right candidate will be able to engage with people from all walks of life and will work in partnership with the deputy receptionist, nurses and clinicians to offer the best patient journey. Knowledge of Dentally Dental software is preferable. It is also essential that the candidate is adaptable, and able to respond to periods of change and service development with a professional attitude.   • Greeting and welcoming patients
  • Ensuring reception area is clean and tidy
  • Answering phone calls and providing information regarding treatment offers
  • Scheduling and cancelling appointments, and regularly reviewing diary
  • Managing correspondence – post and email
  • Managing new patient booking spreadsheets and call backs
  • Following up on patient leads (bookings/enquiries) provided by management
  • Maintaining stock and ordering supplies
  • Supporting the practice manager with invoice management
  • Minuting staff meetings
  • Supporting the nurses to undertake some duties, i.e. lab work posting
  • Providing regular updates to the business practice manager
  • Supporting with ensuring practice compliance
Requirements:
  • Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
  • A positive approach to resolving challenges
  • Organisation, time management and multitasking abilities
  • An understanding of dental office procedures and workflow
  • Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office

COVID-19 considerations: Within the practice we use PPE and enhanced PPE for specific treatments. We have a specially fitted air filtration system and have also implemented procedures to limit the risk of COVID-19 transmission from patients. Experience:
