Dental Receptionist

The Cambridge Dental Hub is looking for a new Receptionist to join our growing Cambridge City Centre practice. About The Cambridge Dental Hub: We are one of Cambridge’s busiest and largest private Dental practices; we have 5 treatment rooms including a dedicated surgery suite for root canal treatment and cosmetic procedures. We offer a full range of high quality and affordable Dental care 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We have a large team of 22 general dentists and specialists working at the practice. The practice has state of the art technology including a Orthophos© XG3D CBCT machine, Sirona Cerec© MCXL CAD CAM and milling machine, Zeiss© microscope and Bio-lase© machines. What we are looking for: We are looking for someone capable of performing the various tasks of a Receptionist. The Reception is the heart of our busy Private Practice. We see a broad range of patients in Cambridge, all whom expect to deal with a friendly, accomplished and competent individual at the desk. We are particularly keen on finding a candidate with a bright spark, capable of taking on more responsibilities. We prioritise promoting within the company. Skills An ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills and a keen eye for details. We want somebody that thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a challenge and a real opportunity to make a difference in our company. The successful candidate must have excellent spoken and written English skills. There is also an opportunity to do dental nursing and start an 18 month training course. Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC Registered) pay starts at £11.50 per hour for qualified nurses and £10.50 if enrolled on the course and independent. Our Cambridge Practice is modern with lots of natural light, and located in central Cambridge, with parking available. Hours Full-time 40 to 48 hours per week (you can choose). Opening Hours: Monday 7.45am to 7.30pm Tuesday 7.45am to 7.30pm Wednesday 7.45am to 7.30pm Thursday 7.45am to 7.30pm Friday 7.45am to 7.30pm Saturday 7.45am to 5.30pm Sunday 9.00am to 5.30pm Must work at least 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays per month.
