What the role involves

  • Opportunity to work in our mixed practice: Monday 09:00 – 17:00, Tuesday 09:00 – 17:30, Wednesday 09:00 – 17:00, Thursday 09:00 – 17:30 and Friday 09:00 – 16:00
  • Happy to negotiate hours and days for the right candidate
  • Essential: management experience
  • Highly desirable: Experience in dental management, however experience in medical management will also be considered
  • Build the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
  • Lead a dedicated team with the day to day running and management of the practice, both clinical and non clinical
  • Achieve key deliverables including business growth targets, managing budgets (including profit and loss) and all operational aspects
  • Excellent working relationships with clinicians, Dentex support centre, suppliers, and NHS contractors
  • Recruitment, onboarding and people management of practice staff such as identifying staff development and training needs
  • Regular team meetings and staff performance reviews
  • Provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice staff
  • Maintenance and marketing of the practice within set budgets
  • Day to day management of CQC activities
  • Competent in health and safety management, and dental compliance
  • Ad hoc receptionist and nursing duties, GDC registered
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

  • CQC registered
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC and compliance
  • Proficient user of the requisite dental software and Microsoft package
